She is survived by: her husband Vishal Vijayanand Kanagala; her son Magnus Vijayanand Kanagala of Charlotte; her parents, Dr. Sonar Babu Maddila and Prabhavathi Chelli; and her brothers, Deepak Chander Maddila of India and Santhosh Chander Maddila of New Jersey.
