She is survived by: her parents, Anna Zarutska and Stanislav Zarutskyi; her siblings, Valeriia and Bohdan; her significant other Stas Nikulytsia; her aunt Valeria Haskell (Scott); and her cousins, Vera Falkner and Viktor Falkner. She is also survived by family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution program will be established.

“I am so sorry what you went through beautiful young woman Iryna Zarutska. I am sorry that no one came to you and comforted you. I cannot imagine what this must have been to endure. I was in pre op surgery the other day so frightened but had reassurance nurses, doctors and son even though frightening the potential complications. I was not able to have the surgery due to an infection but the entire experience frightening to me at 59 years old. God rest your soul Iryna.”
