It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Williams Jr. (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lee Williams Sr. and Mary Zelma Jones of Asheville, N. C.. He is survived by: his wife Michaele; his daughters, Tracie Henson (Jody) and Karen Williams; his granddaughters, Jessica Carlson (Josh), Paige Henson and Breanna Dawson (Corbin); and his great grandchildren, Madilyn Carlson, Dylan Carlson, Beckett Carlson, Parker Carlson, Tucker Dawson and Lenora Dawson.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Charlotte Memorial Gardens (7632 Hood Rd, Charlotte, NC 28215).
