He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus Phillips and Ruth Alexander Phillips; his siblings, Mary Louise Phillips Lyles, Doris Phillips Simmons, Leroy Phillips and Nathaniel E. Phillips; and his aunts and uncles, James and Johnsie McLilly.
He is survived by: his siblings, Diane Phillips Bailey (Charles), John A. Phillips and Edward Phillips; his sister-in-law Betty Phillips; and his cousins, Harold Mackey (Lisa), Virginia Lazenby and Janice Gaston. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
