It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Wallace Elting (Charlotte, North Carolina), who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Philip Elting and Eleanor Abbott Elting; and his brother Marshall Elting. He is survived by: his wife Edith Houlihan "Edie" Elting; his son James Chadwick "Chad" Elting (Michelle); his grandson Luke Wesley Elting; his siblings, Carol Richardson of Charlotte, John Elting of Charlotte and Philip Elting of Cherry Hill, NJ.; his pet Phoebe; and also Mary Jo Melvin Elting.
