He is survived by: his children, Amanda M. Al-Qolaq and Richard James Powell (Shannon); his grandchildren, Walif Al-Qolaq, Tyler Powell and Alex Morse; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Powell and Gary Snyder (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
