She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Brown and Ola Brown; her husband Everett M. Auten; and her brothers, William Brown and Calvin Brown.
She is survived by : her step-children, Kay McGarity of Charlotte and Frank Auten of Clover; SC. and her siblings, Martha Hilbourn of Westminster, MD, Ruth Bryant of Colorado Springs, CO, Jimmy Brown of Omaha, NE and Earl Brown, Jr. of Mount Holly, NC. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren, sixteen step-great-grandchildren.
