She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Brown and Helen Brown. She is survived by: her husband Reverend James Phillip Turner (Phil); her daughters, Kathy Whittington (Danny) of Boone, N. C., Patty Wimberly (Rob) of Newton, N. C. and Teri Lynn Perna of Belmont, N. C.; her stepchildren, Jim Turner (Mary Konsulas), Nancy Pfost (Sean) and Jeff Turner; and her sisters, Barbara Bowes and Deborah Brown. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
