He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie B. Sellers and Gladys Timmons Sellers; and his siblings, Carrie Foster, Katherine Coleman, Robert Sellers, Freddie Sellers and Thomas Sellers.

He is survived by: his siblings, Garfield Sellers Pladis Sellers and Terry S. Hamilton; and his daughter Dr. Candace S. Johnson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, beloved relatives, and friends.
