She is survived by: her son Don Bernardo, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Susan Bernardo; her grandchildren, Nick and Ally; her son Ken Bernardo; her daughter-in-law Tracey Bernardo; her grandchildren, Lauren and Clara Jane; her brother Steven Fitzery; her sister-in-law Bonnie Thompson; and her sibling's children, Jennifer Megan, Hollie Gironda, Shannon Fitzery, Ryan Byrd and Corey Fitzery.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St Francis United Methodist Church (4200 McKee Rd, Charlotte, NC 28270).
