It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Bowman Burnette of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hal Vernon Bowman and Edna Mae Guthrie; and her husband Louis Burnette. She is survived by: her children, Ted, Hal, Steve and Barbara; her grandchildren, Beth, David, Rick, Wade, Wayne, Amanda, Joey, Meg and Landon; her great grandchildren, Jennifer, Anngel, Danielle, Josh, Brandon, Caidence, Veronica and Henry; and her great great grandchildren, Noah, Adam, Gina and Athena.
