He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Hiram Silver, Sr. and Augusta K. Silver; and also Adrian Davis. He is survived by: his children, Joi Michelle Silver and Joel Silver, III; his daughter-in-law Janail Silver; the mother of his children Gwendolyn Bynum of Farmington, Michigan.; and his grandchildren, Jalen, Jayla, Joelle, Raegan, Jasmine and Jacelynn Silver. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
