He was predeceased by: his parents, John Anthony and Ethel Plummer Anthony; and his significant other Betty Sawyer. He is survived by: his sister Suzanne Anthony of Charlotte; and his friends, Ginger Sawyer, Jennifer Sawyer-Rayos, David Sawyer, Marci Hanna, Sheila and Steve Douglas.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oaklawn Cemetery (1615 Oaklawn Ave, Charlotte, NC 28216).
