He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Barringer McKeon. He is survived by: his sons, John Martin McKeon and Phillip Michael McKeon (Joy); his grandson Zachary Barringer McKeon; and his sisters, Patricia Swann (Joseph) of Mint Hill and Jacquline Rion of Lexington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.

Due to current restrictions with the covid-19 virus the graveside service will be for family members only.
