He is survived by: his wife Joan E. Shamp; his children, John R. Shamp (Dawn), Gary T. Shamp (Debbie), Jennifer L. Shamp (Jimmy) and Michael G. Shamp (Whitney); his grandchildren, Lindsey Ferguson Griffin (Chase), Ashley Ferguson Cagle (Tyler), Sydney Shamp, Summer Shamp, Justin Shamp (Lesia), Jessica Shamp Albright (Darryl), Shelby Dabbs, Bailey Dabbs, Riley Shamp, Carson Shamp and Kinsley Shamp; his great grandchildren, Jackson Cagle, Elijah Cagle, Emma Griffin, Luke Griffin, Colton Griffin, Dawson Shamp and Kadence Albright; and his sister Mary Johnna Shamp.
