He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Carter and Arleaver Brown Carter; his sister Willie Mae Nichols; and his sons, Otis Stanly and Michael Grant.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Huntley, Dorian Barnett, Joe Stanley and Donnie Huntley; his godson James Blount; his uncles, Jessie Brown and Dophus Gaston; his grandchildren, Maurice Murray (Ericka), Dominique Huntley, Shanice Willis (Rodney), Jacovia Brown (Antwan), Latonia Huntley and Latrisha Johnson (Terry); his great grandchildren, Brandon Brown, DeMya Brown, Bailey Murray, Kendall Murray, Nequa Huntley, Antonia Boyd, Trinity Huntley and Bryson Huntley; his great great grandchildren, Reanna Brand, Khaden Roach, Jayceon Huntley, Elijah Huntley, Levi Roulhac and Lennox Roulhac; and his close friends, Evelyn Huntley, Alice Murray, Gloria Murray, Raymond Claiborne and Karen MacLean.
