We announce the death of John Ryan (Charlotte, North Carolina), who passed away on August 12, 2026, at the age of 48. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. John will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew John will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. John’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He is survived by: his mother Dana Stonestreet; his fiancée Anastasia Bacalis; his children, Sofia, Ariadne and Luke; his siblings, Joanna and Daniel; and his nephew Micah of Asheville.
