We bid farewell to John Scheidt (Charlotte, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 29, 2025 at the age of 71. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Scheidt Sr. and Clair Scheidt (Backes); and his brother Richard Scheidt Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Denise; his daughters, Monica Dunn (Michael), Laura Benton (Luke) and Jessica Scheidt; and his grandchildren, Owen, Emma Jane and Livi.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to Atrium Hospice and Palliative Care, Forgotten, Now Family Animal Rescue of NC, or East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine.
