He is survived by: his children, Tanserie Simmons-Rorie (Terry) of Charlotte, Evangelist Lafranzell Simmons of Charlotte, Randall Simmons (Mae) of Charlotte, Yvette Miller of Charlotte, Dwayne Miller of Charlotte and Chris Miller of Charlotte. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
