He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Godwin Taylor; his daughters, Laura Kabrich of Charlotte and Susan Hawes of Charlotte; and his grandchildren, Jack Kabrich of New York City, Luke Kabrich of Raleigh, Claire Kabrich of Baltimore, Case Kabrich of Charlotte, Catherine Hawes of Charlotte, Wilson Hawes of Charlotte and Matthew Hawes of Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
