It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Walter Steadman Jr. (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Mabel Prescott Steadman. He is survived by : his spouse Texie Ann Steadman (Ayers); and his daughters, Debbie Vergnetti (Paul) and Terri Burleson (Randy) of Waxhaw. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Park Road Baptist Church (3900 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28209). A reception was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
