She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie H. Cannon and Sadie P. Cannon; her sister Gladys C. Thompson; and her nephew John H. Thompson. She is survived by: her niece Tamara O. Thompson; her godchildren, Barbara Phillips, D. J. Strong and L. Shante Phillips; Johnnie.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Beatties Ford Memorial Gardens (11201 Beatties Ford Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078).
