It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Terrance Foster of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Jon departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jon. Though Jon may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father Nicholas James Foster; his brother Seth Barton Foster; and his grandparents, Robert, Pat Foster and J. T. "Slim" Jordan.
He is survived by: his mother Marie Jordan Foster Whitney; his daughters, Brittney Edwards (Ryan) of Concord, NC and Caitlin Estrella (Omar) of Charleston, SC; his granddaughters, Evelyn and Margaux; and his siblings, Tina Asbury, Patricia Skelton and Nick Foster. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
