She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Dowdy (Scott) of Hickory; her son-in-law William Ward of Cornelius; her grandchildren, Allison Kirby (Jordan) of Hudson and Anne Ward of Cornelius; her great grandchildren, Noah of Greenville, Lilly, Devin and McKinley of Hudson; and her sister Joyce Wicker of Huntersville.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hunter Acres Baptist Church (4520 Heman Dr, Charlotte, NC 28269). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
