She is survived by: her nieces, Joan Hayes Rocha and Mary Jean Hayes Behan (late Austin Behan); her nephew Joseph T Hayes III (Sandra); her great-niece Dr. Paula R. Hayes (Ken Kaizer); her great-nephews, Jack R. Hayes (Hala) and Benjamin Hayes; Leo Hayes and Zeina Hayes.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Dr. Joyce H. and George A. Shealy Endowed Scholarship supporting undergraduate students in Art and Psychology at Queens University of Charlotte.
