She is survived by: her mother Doris Jean Matthews of Charlotte, NC; her sisters, Janice Lee and Joyce Louise; her daughters, Lindsay Kathleen of Charlotte, NC and Laura Elizabeth of Knoxville, TN.; her husband Rudy Turnage; her son Matt Jones (Alethea Platter); her sister-in-law Barbara Ann Richardson of Aberdeen, NC; her nephews, William Raidle and Luke Raidle of Seattle, WA.; and her pet Sissy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Main Sanctuary. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Philadelphia Presbyterian Church (11501 Bain School Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bright Blessings, the Luke Day Foundation, or the Reed Parlier Memorial Foundation.
