He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel James Partin and Sarah Brown Partin; and his siblings, Betty Ann Etheridge, Sarah P. Eron, Helen Partin, James H. "Jim" Partin, Charles C. Partin, Robert L. "Bobby" Partin, Herman Partin and Lewis Partin.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Davis of Sumter, Julian F. "Jay" Partin, Jr. (Linda) of Sumter, David Partin (Robin) of Surfside Beach and William E. "Billy" Partin (Tammy) of Sumter; his grandchildren, Roger Zehr (Nelcy), Jennifer Zehr Delmolino, Lisa Godfrey (Chris), Stephanie Starker (David), Christina Pritchard (Carey), Travis Partin (Jen), Kyle Partin and Hannah Francis (Ray); and his brothers, Wayne Partin (Anne) of Charleston, Norman Partin (Barbara) of Sumter and Mickey Partin of Sumter. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
