June Abernethy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2023, at the age of 88, June Abernethy of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie H. Overcash and Mabel Broome Overcash; and her husband Hal. She is survived by: her children, Jeff (Kim) of Salisbury, Tommy (Melanie) of Concord, Jan Roland (Brent) of Graham and Renee Furman (David) of Locust; her sister Betty Jean Hunter of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Michelle (Frank), Stefanie (Jason), Chad, Kyle (Tori), Lauren (Ben), Brooke (Barrett), Kurt (Bryce), Cam and Alexa; and her great grandchildren, Layna, Elyse, Noah, Jasper, Josie, Avery, Olivia, Dawson, Banks, Salem, Darcie, Henley and Anders.
