We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Katherine M. Howes of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Keokuk, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John J. Ketterer and Nellie A. Ketterer (Schamper); her husband Delbert F. Howes; her son Michael F. Howes; her grandson David James Davis; and her brothers, Jack Ketterer and Frank Ketterer.

She is survived by : her children, Catherine Howes Thordsen, Constance Howes Mann, David Howes, Cindy Howes Willets and Stephen Howes; and her brother Tom Ketterer. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeJong-Greaves-Printy Funeral Home (917 Blondeau St, Keokuk, IA 52632-4921). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at the same location.
