It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Victoria House in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dann and Edith Rebecca Chetwynd; and her brother John Dann, Jr. of Luxenbourg. She is survived by: her children, Daniel S. Auer, Jr. (Lauri Auer) of Keene Valley, NY, Sean M. Auer of Charlotte, NC, Scott P. Auer of Polk City, FL, Penny L. Whitney (Todd Smedley) of Bentonville, VA and Amanda E. Batres (Juan Batres) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Patricia Auer, Karolyn Auer, Victoria Batres and Jay Batres; her great grandchild Emelia Boyer; and her nephew John Dann III.
