He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal W. Blanton and Espy Mae Blanton. He is survived by: his siblings, Daniel Blanton (Bobbie) and Cynthia Owen (Dale). He is also survived by nephews and a niece; and several great-nieces and nephews.
