She was predeceased by: her parents, William Griffitts and Frances Taylor Griffitts; her husband Reece Gregory; her son David "Bo" Henderson; her stepson Tim Gregory; her brother Buddy Griffitts; her grandsons, Jeremy and Jamey Widener; and her son-in-law Mike Lampkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Laney (Chuck), Terri Grady (Bobby) and Sheila Lampkins; her stepchildren, Scott Gregory (Igrid), Randy Laney and Annie Gregory; and her siblings, Emogene Elmore, Brenda Frye, Donna Hanshew and Irvin Griffitts (Becky). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the James Funeral Home (10520 Arahova Dr, Huntersville, NC 28078). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
