He is survived by: his wife Tawanda Mays-Martinez; his son Michael Martinez; his stepson Alex Jolly (Kelsey); his children, Angela Nicole Martinez and Louis Martinez Jr.; the mother of his children Miriam Martinez Cartas; his siblings, Anna, Carmela, Fernando Martinez, Johnnie Martinez and Jaime Martinez; his granddaughters, Evangeline Martinez, Emilia Martinez and Ariella Diaz; and his close friends, Carlos Freire and Lissie Borges Suarez.
