It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Clark Allen (Charlotte, North Carolina), who passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clark and Lucy Dora Fortson Clark; her grandparents, Lindsey, Dorthula Clark, David'Dave'Fortson and Cossie Mottox Fortson Moss; and her siblings, Westley Clark, David Clark, Thomas Clark (Tommie), Cossie Clark, Corrine Stewart, Edward Clark, Grady Clark, John Henry Clark, Ethel Hoskins, William Clark, Elgie Clark and Wallace Clark.

She is survived by: her husband Burlin Allen, Sr.; her son Burlin Allen Jr.; her daughter-in-law Khy Allen of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Diondra Allen (April Root), Rameed Allen, Pianki Allen (Imanuel Hough), Menyarah Allen, Amilion Allen (Austin Schinaman), Burlin Allen III, Khi Allen and Laila Allen; her sister Dorothy Clark; and her sister-in-law Sarah Clark. She is also survived by five brothers-in-law, five sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
