With sadness, we share the passing of Marcia Scalise Hodsden Barney (Charlotte, North Carolina). Marcia, born on June 13, 1951, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Scalise and Dorothy Scalise; her husband Tom; and her sister Alicia. She is survived by: her children, Rachel Lauren Robinson (Russ), Anne Lindsey Ferguson (Rob) and Bridger Lee Hodsden, Jr. (Alice); her grandchildren, Drew, Julia, Lola, Ginger, Jack, Rachel and Bridger, III; and her former husband Lee Hodsden. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Gabriel Church (3016 Providence Rd, Charlotte, NC 28211). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
