She is survived by: her daughter Irma Ballantyne; her grandsons, Kenneth Ballantyne (Kenia) and Jason Ballantyne; her siblings, Rosa Palacios and Ernesto Galindo; her former husband Jose Arango; and her niece Diana Salem (Christopher Mitchell). She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McEwen Funeral Service Inc. (6300 Mallard Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28262). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
