She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Caldwell Gardner and Annie King Gardner; her brother Laverne Gardner; her daughter Rosemary Turnage Wilkerson; and her daughter-in-law Judith Jones Turnage.
She is survived by: her sons, Rudy Turnage of Mint Hill and Robert L. Turnage of Lincolnton; and her grandchildren, Josh Wilkerson of Winnsboro and Krystal Wilkerson of Jefferson. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
