She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Calvin Cope (Bernice Brown) and Mary; her husband Suryanarayan; her daughters, Janani Buford (Tim), Meera Rae (Peter) and Mary; her grandchildren, Emily, Sean, Taylor, Whitney and Cassidy; and her niece Meera Cirian (Steve).
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the South Mecklenburg Presbyterian Church (8601 Bryant Farms Rd, Charlotte, NC 28277).
