It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlin Harold Carr of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Miller, South Dakota, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Delores LaOna Carr; his parents, Harold Carr and Ethel Carr; and his brothers, Wayne and Gene Carr.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Stipe (Peter) of Williamsburg, VA, Constance Williams of Louisville, KY and Stephen Carr (Tamara) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Julie Wilson, David Stipe, Kelly Williams, Carey Lavallee, Timothy Williams, Ashley Bernet and Dani Carr; and his sister Donna Allen of California. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
