He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Love Jr. and Ruth Sides Love; his brother-in-law George W. "Bill" Rose Jr.; and his niece Lee Elizabeth Rose. He is survived by: his wife Connie Love; his sons, Shawn Love (Regina) and Adam Love (Tracy); his sister Marsha Rose; and his nephew William H. "Bill" Rose.
