She was predeceased by: her parents, William Birt Kirby and Rachel Smith Kirby; her son Roy Lee Johnson; her daughter-in-law Jeanna Johnson; and her siblings, Boyce, Dan, Richard, Bill Kirby, June Helms, Gertie Sanderson and Frances Kirby.
She is survived by: her children, Dixie Sullivan and Jeff Johnson; her siblings, Bert Kirby (Margaret) of Simpsonville, SC and Shirley Lawing of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Doug Alexander (Angie), Clay Johnson (Holly) and Lindsi Jones (Michael); and her daughter-in-law Faye Johnson. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends.
