It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Nelson of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Emma Lou Jones; her sister Margaret Jones Carter; her husband John David Nelson; her grandchildren, Alicia (Harry Bishop), Leslie Nelson, Brittany (Ryan Jones), Jeffrey Nelson and Cassidy Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Jake Bishop, Addie Bishop, Meredith Jones and Genevieve Jones.
