She was predeceased by: her parents, John Percy McDonald and Louise Rogers McDonald; her husband Bob Childress; and her siblings, Vivian Hayes, Jeannette Hamilton and J. P. McDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Tanya Gross (Brian), Kris Childress (Lynette) and Eric Childress (Yan); and her grandchildren, Laura, Elizbeth and Amelia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
