She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Price Rea and Lottie Champion Rea; her husband Roger E. Barriere; and her siblings, Lucile Dempsey, Edith Flowe, Hazel Rea, Sam Rea, Bonnie Matthews and Dwight Rea.

She is survived by: her children, Marie and Joseph Barriere; and her sisters, Billie and Rachel Rea. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Memorials may be made in her honor to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
