She was predeceased by: her parents, Luna Moon Townsend and Van Clinton "Jack" Townsend. She is survived by: her husband Charlie Carpenter; her children, Elizabeth Carpenter Argila (Steven) and John Carpenter (Allie); and her grandchildren, Charles Carpenter and Francesca Argila. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
