It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Sharp Shaw of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on June 6, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Montigue Sharp and Annie Blanche Crane Sharp; her aunts and uncles, Elizabeth Johnson (Polly), Lydia Crane, Lester Crane and Charlie Crane of Waxhaw; her son Charles Barton, Jr. (Chuck); and also Jeep Hunter (Pat).
She is survived by: her children, Nancy B. Sharp of Charlotte and Jon Barton (Kathy) of Davidson, NC; her granddaughters, Sherrad Barton of Boston, MA, Meredith Miles (Perry) of Richmond, VA, Audrey Hitt of Charlotte, Lauren Sherman of Denver, CO and Dana Barton of Charlotte; her great grandchildren, Caroline Miles, John Miles, Addison Hitt, Peyton Hitt and Taylor Hitt; her cousin Helen Crane; her stepdaughter Peggy Hardee (Gwynn) of Loris, SC; her stepgranddaughter Courtney Hagreen; and also Charlene Carter.
