She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Alexander and Beatrice Alexander; and her husband Calvin C. Davis, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Calvin C. Davis, Jr. (Sahsine) of Charlotte and Eric A. Davis, Sr. (Stephanie) of Charlotte; her niece Waltina A. Serrao; her great-nephew Alexander Serrao; and her adoptive daughter Balerie Matthews Whisonant. She is also survived by four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
