She was predeceased by: her parents, John Oakes and Rita Oakes; and her brothers, John and Robert Oakes. She is survived by: her husband Harold Irvin III; her children, Crista Kang (Kun) and Andrew Irvin; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Andrew Kang and Lailah Melea Kang; and her siblings, Rosemarie Mitchell (John), Cynthia Jones, Barbara Tetreault (John) and Jospeh Oakes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her sister.
