She is survived by: her husband John James Hood, Jr. (Jack); her children, John James Hood, III (Diane Dear) and Katherine Hood Fuller (Rodger); and her grandchildren, Christopher Dear, Allie Dear, Ashley Dear Rivera, Adrian Rivera, Katherine Hudson Fuller (Katie) and Mary Louise Fuller.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Christ Episcopal Church (1412 Providence Rd, Charlotte, NC 28207).
