He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Grune and Gloria Grune of Stony Point, NY; his father-in-law Abdul Jabar; and his niece Amie Sheridan. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Elizabeth (Kayla) and Sean (Caroline); his siblings, Katherine Breuninger (Chris), Margaret Rickards (Glen), Anne Krause (Jerry), Maureen Horgan (Kevin), Mary Sheridan (John), Paul (Shelly), Tom, Susie Stritmater (Mike), Mickey (Gina), Laura and Jean Barlage (Ed); his mother-in-law Hafeezan; and his in-laws, Hassan (Zeena), Junie (Jameel), Aleem (Fazie), Shameer (Zee), Shabeer, Debbie (Jack) and Andie (John). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
